NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. - The 6th annual Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce Heritage Starlight Celebration is Friday, Oct. 19 from 7 to 10 p.m. at historic Riverdale Mills.
As a tribute to military personnel, current servicemen and women and veterans past and present are admitted free.
This year's celebration has a sock hop theme and features live entertainment from former "Blood, Sweat, and Tears" guitarist Tony Sarno and his Tony Sarno Band, all in an atmosphere reminiscent of the 50's and 60's complete with antique and classic cars and memorabilia.
Guests will sample a "Taste of the Valley" the premier culinary event that brings together a sumptuous menu from the most creative culinary resources of the Blackstone Valley donating their time, talented passion to make this a memorable evening. Premier artists and crafters in the Valley will gather for "Artists of the Valley" providing exceptional goods for sale just in time for holiday gift giving.
Jeannie Hebert, president and CEO of the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce expressed her excitement saying, "Once again we look forward to a wonderful event that brings the people of the Valley together to enjoy an evening of good food and drink, good music and good company. All at a venue that celebrates the history that is the Blackstone Valley.
