GRAFTON, Mass. — Bridge Street Bistro will be changing ownership in the weeks to come.
The Grafton Board of Selectmen approved the transfer of the common victualler license during Tuesday’s meeting.
Jeffrey Paquette, owner of Elsa’s Eatery in Shrewsbury, will become the new owner as soon as the final paperwork is completed, which he said should be “in a few weeks.”
“The only changes I will make are on the menu,” said Paquette, who plans on adding a brunch menu. “The basic hours will remain the same.”
The building, located at 10 Bridge St., is currently owned by Malt Realty LLC. Before the current owner, the restaurant was known as Sebastian's.
Town Administrator Tim McInerney the said the liquor license is still active under the current owner.
Paquette said once the sale is complete he will return to the board to request a final approval, which will include the liquor license. He told the selectmen he has extensive training in serving alcohol and recently re-certified his staff to assure alcohol is not served to a minor.

Their buffalo chicken wrap is my favorite. Yum!
Eh? I was in there a few weeks ago and the new owner was already running the place. He was very excited, so you could not miss him. I guess this is just a matter of paperwork.
