GRAFTON, Mass. — Giant spiders have captured the Creative Mansion on Worcester Street in Grafton, wrapping the pillars with webs in preparation for Halloween.

“It’s an arachnophobe’s worst nightmare,” said Al Bergeron, president and chief creative officer of Bergeron Creative Studios, which is headquartered in the building. “The Creative Mansion is an iconic and well-known landmark — our seasonal decorations are one way we can give back to the community.”

The Creative Mansion is a majestic Greek Revival mansion built in the 1830s.

Bergeron Creative spent the Columbus Day weekend decorating the Creative Mansion as a parade of car horns blared approval and passersby waved and gave thumbs up.

“The feedback on our Facebook page is very positive,” said Dara King, director of social media at Bergeron Creative Studio. “Celebrating Halloween is a lot of fun for young and old alike — stay tuned to our social media networks for more tricks and treats.”

Bergeron Creative:

Hi Shelly,
We are glad you are enjoying it. We agree a decorating contest would be a very fun thing to do. Don't forget to stop by on Halloween!

BobH:

I wonder if the EDC has considered that. I think they have been involved in some similar kinds of things in the past.

I absolutely LOVE it when people get into the SPIRIT of any Holiday. I would love to see the town or one of the organizations in town sponsor a decoration contest amongst the businesses in town. They do this in Ogunquit, ME and some of the Fall/Halloween decorations are incredible and how much fun is it for the kids to see...... Thank you Creative Studio.
