GRAFTON, Mass. ‒ Grafton women will celebrate their 10th annual Women's Night Out: Stress-Free Shopping on Friday night at the Millbury Street Elementary School.
The annual benefit for the Grafton Food Bank features local vendors, food samples, free massages and a lot of shopping. All raffle proceeds go to the food bank. The events runs from 7 to 10 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
New vendors, including Connie Esch of Sarah’s Bow Closet, Marcella Benoit of Name Train, Nans Gordon Decorated Glass, Holistic Treasures with Buffy Cave, Crystal Byron of Livingroom Landscapes, Woodworks by Phil Robinson, and Bella Designs with Ed Gendron, will offer creative gift items. Cathy Coffman of New England Delivered will bring gifts from the six New England states, La Vie Consignment will feature accessories and scarves, and Andrea Lauren of Fitaddict training and Wachusett Candle Company with Jon and Tammy Rondeau will round out new vendors.
Direct sales consultants include Keila Haskins of The Pampered Chef, Melissa Beyer of Usborne Books & More, Chris Miller of Tastefully Simple, Shana Sarault of Arbonne International, Christy Rejmer of Pink Papaya, Denise Conary of Silpada Designs, Robyn Towner of Scentsy Wickless Candles and Michelle LaRose of Thirty-One Gifts.
Janet and David Allen of Bags, Baubbles, and Chocolate will feature Miche Bags, beaded bracelets, and fudge at their tables. Dawn Farmer and Alison Murphy of Two Girly-Girls, Evelyn Ducharme of Knit Knax by Eady, Nick Mazzamurro’s Designs, Nikki Rafferty of Tribe’s Creations, Designs by Gigi with Sheila Seymour, Lori Bonner of INKlings, Paula Touhey of Studio 46 Designs, Sandhya Shenoy of Pearlzy and Maureen Agley of Angel Hair Alpacas will be on hand to offer handmade and distinctive items. Monique Golemo of Miz’ Mo’s Salon will do complimentary eyebrow waxings as well as hair products.
Several vendors will give back with their sales: Heidi Swanick to Abby’s House, Sarah Clements-Boyer to Open Hearts & Open Minds Foundation, and Jax’s Gems with Jacqueline Brennan to the Jimmy Fund, and Girls Scout Cadette Troop #30219 will sell solar-powered flashlights.
Over 40 raffle items donated by the vendors themselves will be awarded to winners drawn at the conclusion of the evening. Door prizes will be announced throughout the evening as well. Raffle tickets cost $1 each, and are available at the door.
Complimentary chair massages from local massage therapists are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Julie Bovenzi and Jo-Anne Gaulin, licensed massage therapists from Spirit of Wellness Organic Spa in North Grafton, have donated their services. Tasty samples from Simone Linsin of Pecorino Cheese Shop, Sarah Whiteman of Anna Banana’s Homemade Goodness and Nicole Boticelli of Boticelli’s Gourmet Creations round out the evening’s program.
