GRAFTON, Mass.- The lights will be on Friday night when the boys’ varsity football team smash mouthes with Southbridge High School at home. Also, there will be a hypnosis show at the high school on Thursday night with Hypnosis Gone Wild. Perhaps the hypnotist can catch a spell on Southbridge High to turn over the ball with each possession.
Here is a rundown of the week.
Tuesday, Oct. 9
Grafton High School girls’ varsity field hockey team will play Northbridge High School at home,3:30p.m.
Grafton High School boys' varsity soccer will play Northbridge High School at home at 7 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 10
Mosquito Seminar, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.-A mosquito informational meeting is being held at the South Grafton Community House at 25 Main Street. Timothy Deschamps, Executive Director of the Central Mass Mosquito Control Project (CMMCP), and Dr. Sam Telford, Professor Biomedical Sciences / Infectious Disease Research at Tufts and CMMCP Board Member will be presenting. This is a great opportunity to get educated before voting at the Town Meeting on whether to reinstate spraying in town.
Blood Pressure Clinic-The Town of Grafton will hold well adult/blood pressure clinics on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at Forest Lane from 3:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 11
Grafton High School boys’ varsity soccer will play at Quaboag Regional High School in Warren at 3:30 p.m.
Grafton High School girls’ varsity soccer team will play at Quaboag Regional High School, Warren at 7 p.m.
Hypnotist Show, 6 p.m.-- Dan Candell of Hypnosis Gone Wild will cast his spell on members of the class of 2013 in a family friendly show. The show will be at the Grafton High School. The cost is $10 per person
Grafton Garden Club, 7 p.m. -- Meet at the Municipal Center for a seminar on shade garden planning. There will also be a plant exchange. Free.
Grafton Farmers Market, 2 p.m. to dusk--This is the last one of the season. Come to the Grafton Common. The market features fresh produce from local farmers as well as foods, wines and products from local craftsmen and businesses.
Friday, Oct. 12

Grafton High School boys’ varsity soccer will play at Uxbridge High School at 3:30 p.m.
Grafton High School boys’ varsity football will play Southbridge High at 7 p.m. in Grafton.
