GRAFTON, Mass. — Town Meeting is the big event this week. If you plan on voting, arrive at the new high school auditorium Monday at 7:30 p.m. It will be a light week for high school sports. The girls’ varsity soccer and field hockey teams will play this week as will the boys’ varsity soccer team.
Here is a rundown of the week.
Monday, Oct. 15
"The Price Is Right": 11 a.m. Check out Grafton native Rob Wilson daily on "The Price Is Right." Contest-winner Wilson will be featured all week as the CBS game show's first-ever male model.
Grafton Town Meeting: 7:30 p.m. Some highlights will be the vote on the municipal center upgrades, the mosquito control vote, and the electronic sign amendments.
Tuesday, Oct. 16
Grafton High School: 3:30 p.m. Girls’ varsity soccer team will play Holy Name High School in Worcester.
Wednesday, Oct. 17
Grafton High School: 3:30 p.m. Girls’ varsity field hockey team will play David Prouty High School at home.
College Financial Aid Seminar: 6:30 to 8 p.m. Parents and students are invited to attend, sponsored by the Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority, at the high school.
Thursday, Oct. 18
Flu Clinic: 2 to 6 p.m. The Grafton Municipal Center will host the first flu clinic of the season. The clinic is open to all Grafton residents. Residents should wear short sleeves and bring insurance cards. Municipal Center gym.
Grafton Historical Society: 7 p.m. “Witches” at the South Grafton Community House. Suggested donation is $5.
Friday, Oct: 19
The First Operation Friendship Dance: 7 to 10 p.m. Dance for Grafton students in grades 6, 7 and 8 at the Municipal Center Gym. Admission is $7 per child.
Grafton High School: 3 p.m. Girls’ varsity soccer will play Uxbridge High School at home.
Grafton High School: 5 p.m. Boys’ varsity soccer will host a league event at Uxbridge High School.
