Friday, Dec. 7
Operation Friendship Dance. 7 to 10 p.m. Open to students in grades six, seven and eight. It will be a chaperoned affair and be held at the Municipal Center Gym, 30 Providence Road, Grafton. $7 per child, bring a can of food for the Grafton Food Bank. Saturday, Dec. 8
Santa's Breakfast. 8 to 11 a.m. Sponsored by the North Grafton Parent Teacher Group, enjoy a pancake breakfast, and be greeted by Santa Claus. 46 Waterville St., North Grafton. $5 per person.
Buddhist Retreat. 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. A day of meditation instruction, yoga, and lectures on how to live a peaceful life. 162 Old Upton Road, Grafton. Free, but donations accepted.
Craft Show for Kai Parker Rezendes.10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A craft show will be held in memory of Kai Parker Rezendes, the 2-year-old Grafton boy who died of a brain tumor on Tuesday Nov. 27. Millbury Street Elementary School, 105 Millbury St., Grafton.
Sunday, Dec. 9
Grafton Garden Club Holiday Party. 2 p.m. Take a tour of the historic Willard House and Clock Museum, see the Victorian decorations, and enjoy a holiday celebration. Free to GGC members, family and guests.
Santa Paws. noon to 4 p.m. Has your dog been extra good this year? The Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine is offering a photo of your pet on Santa's lap at its Agnes Varis Center. Free, but donations will benefit the Tufts at Tech Community Veterinary Clinic, which provides low-cost care for family pets in the Greater Worcester area.
