GRAFTON, Mass. - Second year Brownie Troop 30221 and first year Brownie Troop 11225 carved 25 jack-o-lanterns for the Worcester Ecotarium Great Pumpkin Fest over the weekend.
The girls decided to participate in this project as part of their community outreach, since proceeds for the Great Pumpkin Fest go to support the Worcester Ecotarium, a wonderful educational place for children to learn about science and nature.
The girls had fun creating their pumpkin masterpieces. Brownie Troop 30221 taught the younger troop some Girl Scout songs and led them in some fun games.
The girls all did a great job! The girls hope you will go to the Ecotarium to see their jack-o-lanterns all lit up on display. The Ecotarium's Great Pumpkin Fest will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20, from noon to 9 p.m.
