GRAFTON, Mass. - The annual Blue & Gold Banquet brings together Cub Scout Pack and Boy Scout Troop leaders and scouts as well as their parents for a celebration and to recognize the oldest boys in the Pack, known as Arrow of Light Scouts, as they cross from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts.

On Feb. 17, a total of 64 boys from Grafton Cub Scout Pack 106  earned their rank badges while eight boys “graduated” from Cub Scouting to join Boy Scouting in Grafton Troop 106 and 107. Cameron Cadman, Christopher Cadman, Rahul Harve, Jacob Paquin, Kevin Roche, Nicholas Scorpio, Luke Thomas and Hunter Wilcox were congratulated for their hard work.

Arrow of Light Scout Matthew LeClair was unable to attend, so his graduation to Boy Scouting as well as his Nova and Supernova Awards were recognized Feb. 23 at a Ski Ward tubing party.

The ceremony also marked the end of Cubmaster Chris Paquin’s tenure with Pack 106. Assistant Cubmaster Lewis Alderton has been named the new Cubmaster.

Cub Scout Pack 106 thanks Bushel & Peck Catering for donating food and services for the Blue & Gold Banquet.

Pack 106 is chartered out of St. Mary's Church in North Grafton. For more information, check out the pack's website or contact Cubmaster Lewis Alderton at lewis@alderton.net or 508-353-7714.
