GRAFTON, Mass. — The Patricia Brosnihan Dance Center raised $2,350 for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during its annual Holiday Benefit Performance held Saturday at the Grafton Municipal Center.
The two performances featured dancers from the center's South Grafton and Hopkinton studios.
“We had approximately 600 people in attendance during the two performances.” owner and director Patty Ledoux said. “It’s a group effort to make this happen involving students, faculty, parents."
In addition, donations from Dimitira Delights Baking Company, sound system and lights from local bands, the Brit Wits and the Groove Street Band helped make this possible.
The Town of Grafton donated the municipal center space.
The mission statement of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is “to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.”
