GRAFTON, Mass.--The Giving Tree, an annual holiday event at the Grafton Senior Center that anonymously matches a donated gift to a Grafton elder, is sold out.

Barbara Connolly and Lisa Kelley, the center's interim director and outreach worker, said the last of 42 tags, set on the tree last week, have been claimed and gifts already are coming back.

"Grafton is amazing," Kelley said. "The residents rally and step up every year we do this."

In addition, the Friends of Grafton Elders sent a generous donation to the senior center, Connolly said.

Despite all the tags being claimed, donations and gift cards can be dropped off by Dec. 17 at the senior center, 30 Providence Road.

Questions can be directed to Connolly or Kelley at 508-839-9242.

As a member of the Board of Directors of FOGE, I would like to clarify our donation. FOGE made the donation from our funds to the Senior Center Tree. ie The Senior Center received a generous from FOGE. Thanks Happy Holidays.
