GRAFTON, Mass. -- For years, the Mill Villages Park, dedicated this spring, was an eyesore of a lot, two acres of dust and trash.
Now it is a beautiful overture to what will someday be a revitalized area of apartments, shops, and small business.
The Fisherville & Farnumsville Streetscape Committee is accepting applications for a new commemorative brick program for the Mill Villages Park in South Grafton.
Beginning Nov. 1 to the end of the year, residents can immortalize someone special with a red brick in their name.
The bricks will be installed in the Spring of 2013 as part of the new memorial plaza area currently under construction.
The program is being administered by the Grafton Planning Department.
There are 250 bricks for sale at $100 each.
Instructions and order forms can be found at the Grafton Public Library, the Municipal Center, or by clicking on this link.
