GRAFTON, Mass. - In one room, Graftonites were learning how to play and make their own didgeroos. In another, children were creatively doodling. And throughout the Municipal Center gym, crowds were happily examining row upon row of paintings, watercolors and photos.
Saturday was the day the 7th annual Grafton Fine Arts & Music Festival hit its stride, with Grafton residents turning out for creative workshops and performances and young artists getting their time in the spotlight.
"Just look at the work of these young kids," said Stephen Halpert, founder of the festival. "See the effort they put into it. That's the bottom line, folks."
