NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. – The Whitin Community Center will host its annual Eggstravaganza from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m March 23.
The free event includes an egg hunt, prizes and goodie bags for every child.
Ages 5 and younger will gather in room 4 from 10:30 a.m. to noon, be given tickets and be taken by groups announced by numbers into the gymnasium for their hunt. First prize will be a free youth membership to the center.
The hunt for ages 6-8 will be in Whitin Park from 11-11:15 a.m. The first prize is a week of camp at the center. The hunt for ages 9-12 will be from 12-12:15 p.m. First prize is a youth membership.
The egg hunt in Whitin Park will be canceled if weather is inclement, but all children still will receive a goodie bag and be entered into a raffle drawing to win prizes.
The drawing for prizes will be at 1 p.m.
