There are softball players clustered around a coach in a group hug, celebrating their state championship. Football players beaming with the first Super Bowl trophy since 1986. Cheers in a sea of green from the first students ever to walk the hallways at the new Grafton High School.
The news was not always happy: house fires happened frequently during 2012 and, for the second year in a row, a hurricane knocked out power.
