GRAFTON,Mass.-- Grafton Community Television will broadcast Monday an interview of two visiting Pakistanis, who are part of a cultural exchange program with replays throughout the week.
Grafton recently hosted two municipal government officials from Pakistan as part of
a 75-person cultural exchange program sponsored by the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of
Educational and Cultural Affairs and the Massachusetts Municipal Association.
As part of a two-week visit to learn about municipal government operations in Massachusetts,
Grafton Selectman Brook Padgett invited Sajjad Mubin and Jahanzeb Khan to visit the Grafton Community Television studios, where they were part of a taped
discussion about their visit to the United States.
The program, "A Conversation With Our Pakistani Visitors," produced by GCTV staff members Kris McMullin and Steve Libuda, will air on Charter Cable Channel 12 and Verizon Cable Channel 33. Broadcast times are:
- Dec. 10 and 11 at 5:30 p.m.
- Dec. 13 at 7 p.m.,
- Dec. 14 at 10 p.m.
- Dec. 16 at 10:30 a.m.
Mubin is the director general at the Planning and Development Department for the Government of Punjab and is with the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Engineering and Technology at Lahore, Pakistan. Khan is the district support manager of the People's Primary Healthcare Initiative Program at the Pishin District in Pakistan.
