GRAFTON, Mass. - Shooting for the movie "Orchard House" has moved to Grafton Common, with scenes planned for inside the Grafton Country Store and outside of One Grafton Common.
"We're just hoping that the weather holds up," said Andrea Ajemian, a Worcester resident and co-producer on the production, eying the overcast skies.
"Orchard House," produced by Moody Independent, is a modern day adaptation of "Little Women." It has been shooting interior scenes at a Grafton Greek Revival home rented for the production at a location near Grafton Common.
Police are occasionally stopping traffic around Grafton Common so the noise does not interfere with the shoot. Scenes around Grafton Common itself will be shot tonight between 8 p.m. and midnight.
The Daily Voice will be updating with coverage tonight!

I wish I had known this in advance. I left work late, got back to Grafton about 9PM and drove right through the set. No warnings, no police. Just lots of bright lights, Christmas trees, and people in period costume. Good thing I drive slowly. Of course, it is going to look odd to have a 2005 Subaru in a 19th century movie. However, this could be my big break. After all, Tom Cruise is getting a little old. HA!
