This Weekend In Grafton

GRAFTON, Mass. – It's a weekend of seeing Grafton's stars as talented students take to the stage for "Bye Bye Birdie" and "Legally Blonde" while the library is invaded by characters from "Star Wars."

Friday, July 27

"Bye Bye Birdie," featuring a cast of students from around the area, will be performed by the Valley Music School at Northbridge High School. Show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 adults, $7 for children 12 and under.

Ron Jeremy will be promoting his rum, Ron de Jeremy, at Julio's Liquors in Westborough at 5 p.m. 


Saturday, July 28

"Legally Blonde, the Musical," featuring a number of Grafton High School students in major roles, has two performances at the Hanover Theatre, 2 Southbridge St., Worcester. Shows are at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $10.

"Bye Bye Birdie" has two performances at Northbridge High School, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The Grafton Public Library is hosting a "Star Wars" Symposium at 2:30 p.m. Come dressed as a "Star Wars" character, learn about the history of the movie, bring show and tell items and play trivia games. Pre-registration is required.

The Ned Lucas Band is playing at the Post Office Pub, 7:30 p.m.

Sunday, July 29

"Legally Blonde" has its final performance at the Hanover Theatre, 2 p.m.
