GRAFTON, Mass. – Slippery road conditions lead to a three-car accident on Millbury Street Sunday afternoon, which sent two people to the hospital.

Neighbor Don Cargill ran across the street from his home to Saint Philip's Cemetery after hearing the accident and helped extract a driver and passenger from a flipped SUV on the cemetery lawn.

"I heard tires squealing and then the horn," Cargill said. "He must have hit it when he got up on the lawn."

Grafton Police and firefighters arrived at the scene around 3:30 p.m. to find several vehicles off the road on Millbury Street. They immediately called for road salt to cope with the black ice conditions on the street.

"We were able to get everyone out of the vehicles with no extraction," Fire Chief Mickey Gauthier said. "The roads are a bit of a mess right now."

Happy to see that no one was seriously injured. What does this make in the last 3~4 months 4 roll overs? Hard to believe when the speed limits are so low around here... that section of the road is 30mph...

Keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down good buddy.
