Grafton Man Caught By Shrewsbury K-9 Unit

GRAFTON, Mass. – A Grafton man is facing multiple charges after being tracked and arrested with the aid of Shrewsbury's K-9 unit, according to reports released by Shrewsbury Police.

Thomas F. Hussey, 48, of 58 Londonberry Road, was arrested  at 8:21 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 211 South Quinsigamond Ave., after being tracked down in a swampy area with the aid of a Shrewsbury Police K-9 unit consisting of Officer Chad Chysna and German Shepherd Buzzy, the police report stated.

Shrewsbury officers had been advised to be on the lookout for Hussey, who was wanted on a warrant stemming from previous assault and battery charges, and were warned by Grafton Police that he was likely armed and had a "a long, violent criminal history," according to police reports.

Hussey faces new charges of assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, interfering or mistreating a police dog, and driving with a revoked or suspended license.
