GRAFTON, Mass. ‒ Another Level 3 sex offender was registered with the Grafton Police Friday, bringing the total to five.

Brandon Rezuke, 20, of 127 Worcester St., has been designated a Level 3 sex offender by the state's Sex Offender Registry Board, Grafton Police Chief Normand Crepeau Jr. said. A Level 3 offender is considered a high risk to re-offend, requiring active community notification.

Rezuke was convicted in March of this year of five counts of rape and abuse of a child stemming from a 2010 case, according to Westborough District Court records.

According to the state Sex Offender Registry, Grafton has 18 registered Level 2 sex offenders and five registered Level 3 sex offenders. A sixth Level 3 sex offender is registered as working in town.

I apologize but felt someone who lived in this area might read this . Your cat was hit by a car tonight crossing worcester street . It died instantly and was carried by a kind young man who put it on the ground near the stonewall just north of Wheeler Road. It was a beautiful tabby. I just cant imagine not knowing what happened to my pet.

A man was the cause of it.
An unarmed man with a weapon.

New Kid in Town:

First, let me say that as someone with 5 daughters, having any sex offenders in the town makes me uncomfortable.

But given his age at the time of the crime (18) and the light sentence he was given, this is what pops into my head. He's a senior in high school, dates a freshman or sophomore, they have intercourse even though she is under the age of consent, her parents find out and turn him into the cops.

It's still wrong, but I can't imagine he'd only get one year for forcible rape of a minor.

Personally, I wouldn't cry a tear if they were all driven to Riverside Cemetery in the back of Steve Roney's Cadillac station wagon. Short of that, perhaps next door to the idiot judge who gave him only a year a jail, or as an alternative, anywhere but here would be fine with me.

And where do we drive them too? The people of this country should be in REVOLT about the justice system. Driving someone out of our town to another town seems a bit cruel to the children of other towns. It is time we stood up and demanded mandatory; harsh, minimum sentences for these animals. Further, someone who is such a risk that the community needs to be informed of his mere existence should mean they never get out. Instead of writing to the newspaper, let's write to our elected officials.

why is he not in jail after being convicted? he should not be living anywhere but in a prison.

Five level three sex offenders live here and another works here. Plus we have the creep caught trying to pick up underage girls in Natick. Welcome to Athol, Grafton. We need to drive these dirtbags out of town by any means necessary. Maybe the POS can address this after they get their asses handed to the by the G&U, as these creeps are more if a danger to our town than the trans-loading operation.

Sharon, get him out of town.... now.

Bubbly said "Sharon get him out of"

Be careful bubbly, it is a crime to threaten a sex offender.

Actually it's a crime to threaten anyone. And this was directed at his mother as a hint to get this P.O.S. out of town before someone with less restraint than me finds him.

But thanks for the advice.

John B:

FIVE 5 counts of rape.
Is that a typo?
And a high chance to re offend is out in less then 8 years?
