GRAFTON, Mass. - Saturday is the one of the most anticipated school events of the year: the Octoberfest fair sponsored by the South Grafton Elementary School Parent Teacher Group.
The event, which will be on the school grounds, is always popular. Past Octoberfest's have raised as much as $15,000, funding about half of the PTG budget for the year towards enrichment programs for students.
Volunteer chairperson Kristen Menhall is still looking for more volunteers to help run all the games and activities like face painting, games, and race karts. Visit the sign up site and offer a hand or email kq.menhall@verizon.net.
The fun is from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. Be sure to come early to avoid everyone's worst Halloween fear: scarce parking.
