GRAFTON, Mass. - The Southwick Zoo's Zoomobile rolled into South Grafton Elementary on Feb. 12 and gave kindergartners a chance to go face-to-face with things that crawl, slither and fly.
"Zookeeper Tim" brought a tortoise, lizard, snake, alligator, hedgehog, bush baby, parrot and chinchilla to visit the children. They learned interesting facts about the animals and were allowed to touch one of the softest animals in the world.
Visit the photo gallery to see more animals.
The event was paid by the South Grafton Parent/Teacher Organization.
