GRAFTON, Mass. - Time is running out to register for the 2013 Grafton Little League season.

Any child currently age 3 (turning 4 by April 30) and up is eligible. Tee Ball is a fun instructional league where boys and girls will learn the basics of throwing, hitting and base running. Players in the lower age groups play in a division specifically geared to their age. To register, visit: www.graftonlittleleague.org.

Grafton Little League by Division:

  • TeeBall Division: Ages 4-6 -- Two games per week on Monday and Wednesday with an occasional Saturday game.
  • A Division (coach pitch): Ages 7-8 -- Two games per week on Monday, Thursday or Saturday. One practice each week.
  • AA Division (kid pitch): Age 9 -- Two games per week on Tuesday, Thursday with an occasional Saturday game. One practice each week.
  • AAA Division (Bazinet): Age 10 - 11 -- Two games per week on Wednesday and Saturday. Two practices per week.
  • Major Leagues (Dauphinais) Ages 10-12  -- Two games per week on Tuesday and Friday. Two practices per week.
  • Senior Leagues Division: Ages 13-16 -- Two games per week possibly Monday and Thursday. One practice per week.

Any player eligible for AA, Triple A or the Majors that wasn’t on a Majors team in 2012 is required to be evaluated March 9 (Bazinet and Dauphinais) so they have to be registered by March 8. Players age 8 with competitive skills should notify Matt Boris of their interest in being evaluated on March 23. This requires players to be registered by March 22. Tee Ball and Single A registration will remain open but it is helpful to register as soon as possible to help the volunteers that organize Grafton Little League teams.

Registration cost is $100 for the Tee Ball and Single A Divisions and $120 for all others. Families registering three or more children receive a $70 discount on all children after the first two children. GLL offers scholarships for eligible families. It is the goal of the Grafton Little League to provide children with the best baseball experience possible. Questions regarding online registration can be directed to Matt Boris, GLL’s Registrar at: mattboris@verizon.net.
