Grafton Tigers Defeat Shrewsbury In Cricket

GRAFTON, Mass. - The Grafton Tigers cricket team defeated Shrewsbury for the second time this season in their most recent game at Grafton's Airport Field.

Playing an 18-18 overs game, the Tigers batted first, scoring 100 runs in 18 over. This was the second consecutive total score made by the Tigers this season.

Dinesh contributed 34 runs, Ramnik Mayor and Raju Kosuri contributed 19 and 17 runs. The Grafton Tigers cleared the boundary 6 times, including three sixes and three fours.

The Shrewsbury team played very well, scoring 89 runs in 18 over. Sarswat from the Shrewsbury team played very well and made 37 runs.  Milind Kale and Suraj kapoor shared 2-2 wicket and Rambabu Aduri, Shripad Nandurbarkar and Pankaj Gupta shared 1-1 wicket.
