An adult and two dogs escaped a house fire unscathed Friday, July 26 in Glen Rock, as reported by Boyd A. Loving.
The fire broke out in a second-floor bathroom of the Nottingham Road home sometime around 1 p.m., bringing firefighters from multiple agencies to the scene.

A Hudson Valley man and woman were charged, and police seized drugs, guns, and cash following a two-year investigation into drug sales in the area.
The incident occurred in Orange County on Thursday, July 25, at three locations in the city of Middletown.
According to Lt. An extensive investigation into drug dealing in Carroll County led to the apprehension of four wanted suspects who have been indicted by a grand jury, the state's attorney's office announced.

A 31-year-old Newark man was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Wednesday, July 24, for his role in a home invasion in Kearny three days before Christmas 2017, authorities said.
On Dec. 22, 2017, Evin Ferman-Argueta was one of three men who entered a woman's apartment and sexually assaulted her while demanding money, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. The men left with her vehicle and numerous personal items, Suarez said.
