Route 211 Stretch Reopens After Crash In Middletown (Developing) A crash in Orange County caused the closure of a busy stretch of Route 211 on Wednesday morning, April 9, prompting traffic delays and a detour for local drivers. According to the Middletown Police Department, at around 8:15 a.m. on April 9, Wickham Avenue (Route 211) was shut down between Lincoln Street and Wisner Avenue due to a motor vehicle collision.
