Medical Care Building's Structural Stability Damaged In Somers Crash (Update) Crews had to shore a compromised part of a Northern Westchester medical care building after a vehicle crashed through its wall.  The crash happened on Thursday, Dec. 12 around 2:45 p.m., when a car crashed into the Optum Medical Care building at 342 Route 202 in Somers, according to the Somers Volunteer Fire Department.  According to the department, arriving fire crews began shoring the building's compromised area while removing the driver from their car. I-684 Reopens After 2 Tractor Trailers Jack-Knife, Leave Roadway In North Castle Part of Interstate 684 in Northern Westchester has cleared following a crash involving two jack-knifed tractor-trailers.  The incident happened on Monday, Dec. 16 at around 6 a.m., when two tractor-trailers were involved in a crash on I-684 northbound in North Castle, according to New York State Police. The two vehicles jack-knifed and went off the roadway as a result of the wintery weather, police said. Luckily, no injuries were reported. The interstate is now open to traffic.

4-Car Crash Blocks Lane Of I-87 In Tarrytown, Causes Traffic A crash temporarily blocked a lane of Interstate 87 in Westchester and slowed northbound traffic. The incident happened on Friday, Dec. 13 around 3:40 p.m. on I-87 North just after Exit 8/8A in Tarrytown, according to New York State Police. Troopers said four vehicles were involved in the collision and one person suffered minor injuries.
