At 3:15 p.m., South Brunswick police responded to a residence on Route 27 and found Lauren Saldana, 38, dead at the scene, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Raymond Hayducka of the South Brunswick Police Department said. Woman Left Child Locked In Cold Vehicle At Whippany Wegman's: Police A 42-year-old Rockaway woman was arrested and charged on Monday, Dec. 23 after leaving a child unattended, locked in a vehicle, authorities said. Officers responded to Wegmans at 34 Sylvan Way in Whippany and found the child locked in the vehicle, the Hanover Township Police Department said. The high that day was 27 degrees.
