Man Killed In Fiery Crash At Egg Harbor Toll Plaza: Njsp A 36-year-old Hammonton man was killed after his car was engulfed in flames on the Atlantic City Expressway Thursday evening, Aug. 21, authorities said. At 7:58 p.m., troopers responded to a crash on the Atlantic City Expressway west after John Warlow struck the toll both at the Egg Harbor toll plaza in a Ford SUV and his vehicle caught fire, Christopher Postorino, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Warlow was pronounced dead at the scene, Postorino said.  The crash remains under investigation, Postorino said.

14-Year-Old Stabbed, Juvenile Apprehended: Newark PD A 14-year-old boy was stabbed and a suspect was apprehended in Newark Thursday, Aug. 21, authorities said. At 3:45 p.m., officers responded to Astor Street near Sherman Avenue and found a 14-year-old boy who had been stabbed, Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda said. The 14-year-old was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and is in stable condition, Miranda said. Officers located the male juvenile suspect near the scene of the incident, Miranda said. He has been detained as part of this ongoing investigation, Miranda said.
