Stolen Handgun, Oxycodone Recovered Following Linden Traffic Stops, 2 Arrested: Police Two men were arrested and charged with illegally possessing handguns in Linden following two traffic stops, authorities announced Wednesday, Aug. 13. Pickup Truck Transporting Horses Involved In 2-Vehicle Crash: Raritan Twp Police A pickup truck pulling a 26-foot horse trailer was involved in a two-vehicle crash in Raritan Township on Tuesday, Aug. 12, authorities said. Drowning Prompts Jersey Shore Town To Close Beach When Lifeguards Leave Following a drowning on Monday, Aug. 11, Seaside Heights Mayor Anthony Vaz announced the borough will be ordering people out of the water when lifeguards leave.
