Manville Man Sentenced After Defrauding $4 Mil From Brain Injury Fund: Feds A 58-year-old Somerset County man was sentenced on Thursday, Nov. 14,  to 7.5 years in prison after he was convicted of defrauding millions from the New Jersey Brain Injury Fund, authorities said. C.R. Kraus, a Manville resident, was convicted in April of conspiracy to commit healthcare fraud, five acts of healthcare fraud, and four counts of tax evasion, US Attorney Philip Sellinger said. Teen Stabbed In Jersey City: Authorities A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized after he was stabbed in Jersey City on the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 13, authorities said. At 6:43 p.m., police responded to Bowers Street and Sherman Avenue and found the 16-year-old with a puncture wound to his left middle lower back, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokesman for the mayor's office said. Man Shot In Jersey City: Authorities A 39-year-old man was shot in Jersey City on the morning of Sunday, Nov. 10, authorities said. At 12:42 a.m., police responded to Grove Street and Newark Avenue and discovered a man with a wound to his lower back, Kimberly Wallace Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said.
