Three Shot, One Critical In Newark Broad Daylight Shooting: Police (Photos) One person is in critical condition after three people were shot in Newark on the morning of Wednesday, February 19, authorities said. A 10:11 a.m., police responded to the 600 block of South 17th Street and found three people, two women and one man shot, Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda said. The shooting victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, Miranda said. The two women are reportedly in stable condition while the man is reportedly in critical condition, Miranda said. The shooting remains under investigation, Miranda said.

Jean Robert Destine was last seen traveling on Adams Avenue toward Fairmount Avenue, Elizabeth police said. ICE Arrests Fugitive Wanted For Raping Minor In Guttenberg, Officials Say A Peruvian man wanted for raping a minor was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 11 in Hudson County, authorities said. The man, whose name is being withheld due to privacy issues, was arrested in Guttenberg by  U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the agency said.   The man, who was in the United States illegally, was served a notice to appear before an immigration judge and his court date is pending with the Executive Office for Immigration Review, ICE said. He remains in ICE custody pending removal proceedings, the agency said.
