Pedestrian Killed, Pinned Against Guardrail In North Bergen: Police A pedestrian pinned against a guardrail and "instantly killed" early Monday, Feb. 10 in North Bergen, authorities tell Daily Voice. The crash occurred at 91st Street and Tonnelle Avenue and led to numerous road closures and detours, including at Route 1 and 9, North Bergen police said. The roadway was eventually reopened, police said. Footage of the crash was shared by HudPost on Instagram (note the story disappears after 24 hours).

Gabriel Mojica pleaded guilty to animal cruelty, endangering the welfare of a child, and aggravated assault upon law enforcement officers, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said. That evening, firefighters responded to a fully involved car fire at Route 517 and Lone Pine Terrace during the snowstorm, the Allamuchy Fire Department said.
