Florham Park Man Brandished Firearm At Rider University: Police A 20-year-old Florham Park man was arrested and charged after he brandished a firearm on the Rider University campus on Sunday, March 30, authorities said. At 11:06 p.m., officers responded to Olson Dormitory on a report of a person with a firearm, Lawrence township police said. The suspect, Jordan Greene, got into a confrontation with another individual and fled the scene before officers arrived, police said. 16-Year-Old Fatally Shot In New Brunswick: Prosecutor A 16-year-old New Brunswick boy was fatally shot on the evening of Monday, March 31, authorities said. At 6:26 p.m., officers responded to Lee Avenue and Rutgers Street and found the 16-year-old with gunshot wounds, the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office said. He was transported to Robert Wood Hospital for treatment, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said. Body Found In Passaic River ID'd As Man Missing Since December: Prosecutor A 21-year-old man missing from Cedar Grove since last December has been identified after his body was recovered from the Passaic River last week, authorities said. Child Predator Wanted In Somerset Remains At Large: Prosecutors Cristian Medina, a 39-year-old man last believed to be living in Middlesex, is at large nearly five years after he was hit with charges of attempting to lure a child, authorities said. Medina was named the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office Fugitive of the Month for April. Home Catches Fire After Car Crash: Manalapan PD A vehicle crashed into a home, causing it to be set ablaze on the morning of Tuesday, April 1 in Manalapan, authorities said. At 5:02 a.m., a car crashed into a home on Craig Road near Symmes Drive, and the home then caught on fire, Manalapan police said. The driver of the vehicle was removed by passing motorists, and was transported to an area hospital, police said. A person inside the house was safely removed, police said, and firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze, police said. The incident remains under investigation, police said.

Sewell Man Fatally Struck By Vehicle On Route 76: Njsp A 60-year-old Sewell resident was fatally struck by a vehicle while on Route 76 in Gloucester City on the early morning of Tuesday, April 1. At 2:19 a.m., a Mitsubishi Eclipse was traveling south on Route 130 and entering the Route 76 ramp when Douglas Cella entered its path and was hit by the vehicle, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Cella sustained fatal injuries, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.
